The definition of courage is to have strength in the face of great pain and adversity.
To have courage when we know circumstances haven’t changed, but you still trust, have hope and still believe.
We wait for that quiet whisper from God to calm the storms around us, not necessary the storms, but how we encounter the storms as we keep our eyes on Him. He is there with us even in the turmoil, the circumstances, in the pain.
We come to trust and believe that God will eventually lead us out of darkness and into the light.
So we lead and live from the heart, speaking the truth in adversity and pain while always searching for glimmers of hope. Just as Lucy knows in Narnia that Aslan—that God—is on the move, we need to continue to seek his face and find God in the midst of all things.
This is Courage, dear Heart.
